Fernando Collazo is an experienced professional in business development and integrated business management, currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Irradiation Services since July 2023, where responsibilities include business strategy execution and portfolio management. Prior to this role, Fernando has had a long tenure at ANSTO since 2009, holding various positions including Senior Manager Integrated Business Management, Integrated Business Planning Process Leader, Acting Demand Manager, Operations Manager for ANSTO Silicon, and Silicon Irradiation Engineer, focusing on achieving organizational excellence and optimizing business processes. ANSTO is one of Australia’s largest public research organisations and custodian of much of our country’s important science infrastructure, including the OPAL nuclear research reactor, the Australian Synchrotron, accelerators, cyclotrons and neutron beam instruments. More than 1000 scientists, engineers and experts work at ANSTO to answer the significant environmental, medical and industrial questions using nuclear techniques.
