Gehan Ranasinghe

Gehan Ranasinghe is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in operational due diligence and superannuation regulation. Currently serving as a Manager at AustralianSuper since September 2021, Gehan plays a key role in overseeing the operational due diligence program for external investment managers and custodians. Prior to this, Gehan worked at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority from January 2018 to August 2021, where responsibilities included managing a portfolio of large industry superannuation funds and liaising with government bodies. Earlier career experiences include positions at Westpac Institutional Bank and St George Bank, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University. Gehan’s diverse background also features significant roles in asset structuring and corporate restructuring, further enhancing expertise in the financial sector.
