Marcus Jahn

Marcus Jahn currently serves as the Head of Competence Unit and Senior Research Engineer for Lithium Ion Cell Prototype Manufacture at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH, leading R&D and process optimization in battery cell manufacturing. Previously, Marcus held various roles at WMG, University of Warwick, including Project Manager and Project Engineer, where involvement focused on the Lithium Ion Battery Scale-Up Pilot Line and strategic alliances for energy storage technologies. Early in the career, Marcus contributed as a PhD Research Student at the University of Nottingham, supervising students and engaging in research, and also worked as a Researcher at IMPT, supporting product development processes. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Entrepreneurship from WU, a PhD in Materials Science, an MSc in Advanced Materials with Distinction, and a BSc in Physics, all from prestigious institutions.
