Abel Vandegrift

Abel Vandegrift has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Abel began their career as a Legal Intern at LIUNA - Laborers' International Union of North America in 2010. Abel then worked as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in 2011 and a Legal Intern at Right Size Law, PLLC in 2012. Abel also worked as an Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives in 2012. In 2013, they were an Attorney at Compliance Discovery Solutions. From 2014 to 2019, they were Vice President at Signal Group DC. Abel is currently the Head of Strategic Initiatives & Federal Partnerships and Director of Government Strategy at Authentic8.

Abel Vandegrift obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy from the University of Maryland. Additionally, they obtained a GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF) certification from GIAC Certifications in October 2021 and is a member of the Maryland Bar.
