Jeff May has held various software engineering roles since 1990. Jeff began their career at Universal Dynamics/Mannn und Hummel as a Technical Support, providing on-the-phone support and software and network engineering. From 1996 to 2005, they worked at ManTech IS&T, progressing from Software Engineer to Technical Lead and Project Manager. In 2005, they joined Applied Signal Technology as a Software Engineer, developing federal government custom software applications. Jeff then moved to Marble Security, Inc. in 2010 as a Senior Software Engineer, developing a secure virtualized web browser for the Windows and Macintosh OSX platforms. In 2014, they became a Principal Software Engineer at SugarSync, acting as liaison between the development team and other teams and overseeing the team's design, development, and testing efforts. In 2016, they joined Objectivity, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, enhancing the existing product line to function in a fault-tolerant scalable distributed environment and maintaining the legacy products. Jeff is currently employed at Authentic8 as a Software Engineer, starting in 2022.
Jeff May attended Hendrix College from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physics.
