Christian Schroeder is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in tax and risk management across various industries. Currently serving as VP of Tax & Risk Management at AUTO1 Group since April 2018, Christian has significantly expanded the tax department and oversees tax operations for approximately 70 group entities in Europe. Key achievements include implementing tax efficiency projects, streamlining VAT reporting, and managing multiple tax audits and litigations. Prior roles include Global Tax Director at iflix, Advisor to Head of Group Tax at PETRONAS, Senior Manager at Outokumpu Group, and Manager Indirect Tax at Ernst & Young. Christian holds a Juridical Degree and a Professional Law Degree, along with a Chartered Tax Advisor qualification.
