Steven Ortega

Steven Ortega is an experienced general manager with a strong background in operations management, safety training, and employee development. Currently serving as General Manager at Autobahn Indoor Speedway since April 2016, Steven oversees daily operations at a top-tier indoor karting facility in the Baltimore/Washington DC area. Previously, Steven managed K1 Speed in Poughkeepsie NY from November 2014 to April 2016, where responsibilities included coordinating operations and employee training in safety and policy. Earlier experience includes roles as Loss Prevention Manager and Merchandising Manager at Gap Inc./Old Navy from October 2010 to November 2014, focusing on security investigations and team management. Steven's military service as an Aircraft Director in the US Navy from February 2006 to May 2010 further complements a diverse skill set. Steven holds an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Dutchess County Community College.
