His thinking is sought not only by automotive executives throughout the value chain but also by government policy makers and the media.

In 2012 he was awarded The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal for his contribution to the automotive sector in Canada.

Married with one adult daughter he now spends his spare time at his country home near Stratford, Ontario.
