Autoleague
Ian Melton has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ian began their career as a Production Trainee at Supreme International Ltd in 1987, followed by a role as a Production Supervisor at RIAD Manufacturing from 1990 to 1995. Ian then transitioned into the automotive industry, working as a New Vehicle Sales Cadet/Consultant at Max Penningtons Auto City from 1995 to 1996. Ian continued in the automotive field at Melbourne City Toyota, where they worked as a Stock Controller from 2000 to 2007 and later as a Senior Retail Sales Consultant from 1997 to 2000. In 2007, Ian joined Andrews and Wallis Motor Group Pty Ltd as the Group Information Technology Manager. Ian played a crucial role in supporting business operations until September 2018. In 2018, Ian took on the position of Chief Information Officer at Pawmanity, where they were responsible for designing and engineering IT infrastructure to support business processes. In October 2018, their position was transferred to IDOM Automotive Group, which later became Autoleague in July 2022. Ian served as the Group IT Manager (VIC) at Autoleague until July 2020 when they transitioned to their current role as the Head of Information Technology. In this role, they incorporate technology strategies aligned with business goals and provides strategic leadership in selecting and implementing technology solutions.
Ian Melton attended Taranaki Polytechnic from 1993 to 1994, where they studied Cert Supervisory Management. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at New Plymouth Boys High School from 1983 to 1986.
