Visakan Mathivannan

Visakan Mathivannan is a Senior Project Engineer at Automata, a London-based biotech company, since October 2021, where responsibilities include leading a team on a significant project exceeding £1,000,000 and liaising with customers to ensure project timelines are maintained. Prior to this, Visakan served as a Growth Applications Engineer at Automata, focusing on developing solutions for new opportunities and creating in-silico showcases. Experience includes a role as Product Manager at Atmo Technology, where Visakan oversaw the deployment of environmental monitoring sensors on major UK industrial sites, and an internship as a Design Engineer at Emotech LTD, researching AI applications. Additionally, Visakan has experience tutoring technology to children at Fire Tech and exploring BLE technology integration at mkodo. Visakan holds a Master of Engineering degree in Design Engineering from Imperial College London, completed in 2020.
