Sitaraman (Sita) Balasubramanian has extensive experience in supplier development and quality management within the semiconductor and automotive industries. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Automotive Industry Action Group since January 2023, Sitaraman holds the position of Global Director for Supplier Development & Quality at Aptiv, effective November 2019. Previous roles include Director of Worldwide Supplier Quality Engineering at Qorvo, Inc. and Director of Advanced Sourcing & Supplier Quality at TriQuint Semiconductor. Sitaraman has also managed Quality and Reliability Engineering at Conexant Systems and worked as a Quality Engineer at Lucent Technologies/Agere Systems. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Karnatak University.
