Steven Hsieh, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional in the automotive industry with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the AIAG General Director for Asia and Chief Representative for China at the Automotive Industry Action Group since February 2018, Steven also holds the position of Secretary General for the AIAG China Quality Advisory Committee. Steven is a China Advisor for Saietta Group Limited, focusing on innovative technologies such as Axial Flux and In-Wheel Motors since January 2022. Previously, Steven was the President & CEO of Auto Parts Alliance, directing automotive manufacturing and supply chain services. Steven's career includes significant roles at John Deere, as Director of Supply Management-Asia, and Ford Motor Company, where Steven held various directorial positions. With a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University and executive education from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Steven specializes in mergers and acquisitions, supply chain sustainability, and strategic purchasing, particularly within the US and China markets.
