Simon Brenchley has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and product management. Simon is currently a Lead Software Engineer (Frontend) at Automotive Transformation Group, where they lead a team of engineers and works on projects utilizing front-end web technologies. Simon is responsible for planning, prototyping, and building applications, as well as hosting agile ceremonies and managing work requests.
Before their current role, Simon worked at G-Forces Web Management, where they held various positions. Simon started as a Junior Web Developer and then progressed to become a PHP Web Developer and a Senior Developer. In these roles, they managed development teams, carried out code reviews, and played a key role in pushing product development and applying new technologies.
Simon has also worked as a Lead Developer - Managed Service, where they led the managed service development team and achieved high efficiency levels. Additionally, they served as a Business Analyst, responsible for gathering requirements and facilitating communication between stakeholders. Simon also worked as a Technical Planning Lead, leading the technical planning team and carrying out various business analyst responsibilities.
Throughout their career, Simon has demonstrated proficiency in agile product development, market analysis, product strategy management, and business process improvement. Simon has a strong background in web development and has contributed to the success of various web-based automotive products.
Simon Brenchley obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc HONS) degree in Computer Science and Business Studies from Canterbury Christ Church University from 2001 to 2004.
