Christopher Eshleman is currently the Director of Energy Analytics and Electric Supply at East Bay Community Energy. Prior to this role, Christopher held positions at Pacific Gas and Electric Company as an Expert Day Ahead Analyst and at L&S Energy Services as an Energy Engineer. Christopher also has experience as an Energy Analyst at Lehigh University and as a Specialist at Apple Retail. Eshleman holds a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University.

Ava Community Energy (Ava), formerly East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), is the local, not-for-profit electricity supplier powering Alameda County and the City of Tracy (electricity service to the Cities of Stockton and Lathrop will begin in 2025). Ava provides clean, green energy at low rates to our 640,000 customers. We reinvest earnings back into the community to create local green energy jobs, local programs, and clean power projects. Ava member cities include Albany, Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Stockton, Tracy, and Union City. The unincorporated areas of Alameda County (including Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, San Lorenzo, and Sunol) are also served by Ava.
