Kiseok Moon

Kiseok Moon has a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering field. Kiseok is currently working as an SMTS Process Engineer at onsemi since November 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Manufacturing Engineer at TDK Headway from June 2018. Before that, Kiseok was a Device Scientist at Avalanche Technology Inc. starting from March 2014. Kiseok worked as a Sr. Staff Eng at Grandis, Inc. from August 2010 until March 2014. Earlier in their career, they served as a Sr. Staff Engineer at Seagate Technology in 2008-2009, a Staff Engineer at SISA from 2006-2008, and a Sr. Principle Engineer at Western Digital Technologies from 2003-2006. Kiseok started their professional journey as a Staff Engineer at Readrite corp in October 2000 and stayed there until January 2003. Kiseok also has managerial experience, having worked as a Manager at Samsung Electro-Mechanics corp from June 1998 to October 2000. Before that, they were a Visiting Scholar at IBM Almaden Research Center from September 1996 to June 1998.

Kiseok Moon completed their B.S degree in Physics-Education from Seoul National University from 1982 to 1986. Kiseok then pursued a M.S degree in Physics from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) from 1986 to 1988. Later, they obtained a Ph.D degree in Physics from KAIST, completing their studies from 1992 to 1996.
