Venkat Surapaneni is an accomplished data architect and engineer with extensive experience in leading database and data strategy initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as Principal, Enterprise Data Architect at Avalara since June 2020, Venkat has spearheaded the design and execution of Project Polaris, enhancing data-driven decision-making processes and exploring innovative ML and Gen-AI applications. Previous roles include Principal Database/Systems Architect at MobileIron, where database cluster efficiency was improved by 50%, and Principal Database Architect at Elastica, contributing to multi-cloud data solutions.
