Jim Koger

Jim Koger is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in healthcare management and strategic planning. Currently serving as VP of Product and VP of Implementation at Avalon Healthcare Solutions since March 2017, Jim leads project governance and new client implementations for a company specializing in Laboratory Benefits Management. Previously, Jim held the position of Principal at Mosaic Health Solutions, where responsibilities included sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities. Prior roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina included Senior Strategic Advisor and Project Manager, where significant strategic initiatives were led. Jim’s career began with roles such as Business Analyst at Fidelity Investments and Program Manager at both the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and the Medical and Health Research Association of NYC. Jim holds a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Wake Forest University.
