Tess Ridgway is a development and corporate volunteers coordinator at AVANCE, Inc. since October 2014, where responsibilities include coordinating logistics for fundraising events, managing the donor database, and preparing stewardship communications. Previous experience includes a position as a teacher's assistant at Neighborhood House, where Tess supported the Head Start program and worked with children and immigrant families, as well as serving as a village HIV educator in Tanzania for Support for International Change. Tess began as a teacher's assistant at Concord International Elementary School, focusing on the Hispanic community in South Seattle. Tess holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Family Studies from the University of Washington, completed in 2014.
