Carlos Guzman

Carlos Guzman has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Carlos currently holds the position of Principal, Development Engineering at Avangrid Renewables. Prior to that, they served as the Manager, Civil Engineering at RWE from June 2019 to June 2023. Before joining RWE, they worked as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at UL Solutions from February 2018 to June 2019. Carlos also has experience as a Senior Civil Geotechnical Engineer at DNV GL from October 2014 to February 2018, and as an Offshore Geotechnical Project/Lead Engineer at Fugro from December 2010 to October 2014. Carlos started their career as a Staff Professional at Fugro Consultants, Inc. in May 2008 and later served as a Geotechnical Intern at EST, Inc. from May 2007 to December 2007. Carlos Guzman's work experience spans various roles and responsibilities within the engineering industry.

Carlos Guzman holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Carlos has also obtained a Certificate in Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School Online. Additionally, Carlos is certified through the NCEES Records program to complete licensure in multiple states. Carlos holds a Professional Engineering License in Ohio from the Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors, as well as a Professional Engineering License in Texas from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
