Arjun Some

Arjun Some is currently serving as the Global Strategic Sourcing Director at Avantor since May 2023, after holding the position of Global Sourcing Manager - Direct at Flexsys from 2022 to 2023. From June 2016 to September 2022, Arjun worked at Eastman Chemical Company, progressing through roles such as Sourcing Manager, where responsibilities included driving down the Total Cost of Ownership for the Tire Additives business and executing sourcing strategies for key raw materials across four continents. Prior to that, Arjun led a market research team that provided ongoing market intelligence for Eastman's businesses and contributed to pricing strategies as a Strategic Pricing Representative. Earlier experience includes serving as a Global Product & Pricing Manager in Adhesives and participating in commercial leadership development as an intern. Arjun's career began at EY in Climate Change & Sustainability Services, where roles ranged from Associate Consultant to Senior Consultant. Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering from Jadavpur University.
