Abi Sood

Abi Sood is a seasoned professional in the home furnishings industry, currently serving as the Founder and Creative Director of Avasa Home since October 2014, focusing on natural and sustainable fabrics. As President of the Board of Advisors for the Sustainable Furnishings Council since January 2019, Abi has played a pivotal role in guiding the organization through transitions while advocating for environmentally sustainable practices in the industry. With extensive experience as Managing Director of AT HOME, Kids At Home, and Director at Associated Indian Exports, Abi has a proven track record in creating and managing successful businesses in textile design, marketing, and supply chain development. Abi co-founded sOUP HOME, contributing to innovative and environmentally conscious home furnishing solutions. Abi holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Connecticut, earned in 1998.
