Tjalling-Jan Gerkema has extensive experience in SAP consulting, currently serving as an SAP MDG / VIM / Workflow consultant at Avelon since July 2008. Prior to this role, Tjalling-Jan held positions as a Senior SAP Consultant at Capgemini from April 2004 to July 2007 and as an SAP Consultant at Logicacmg from 2001 to April 2004. Tjalling-Jan began the career as a Research and Development Engineer at DSM Food Specialties Savoury from March 1999 to April 2001, and earlier worked as Manager at Unox Unilever from September 1998 to April 1999. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Procestechnology from HAS Green Academy (1994-1998), a BS in Foodtechnology from Wageningen University & Research (1991-1994), and foundational education at Hertog Jan College (1984-1991) and De Smelen (1975-1981).
