Alan Vey

Alan Vey has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Alan began their career in 2011 as an Associate at Deloitte, followed by a Software Engineer role at Series Eight in 2014. Later that year, they co-founded Labthi.ng Ltd, a web platform connecting corporates to top university students. In 2015, they took on a Quantitative Developer role at Brevan Howard, followed by a Board Member and Co-Founder role at Artos Systems in 2018, and a Co-Founder and Board Member role at FanDragon Technologies, also in 2018. In 2017, they became a Guardian at Aventus Foundation. In 2020, they became Chairman and Founder of Aventus Network, and CEO and Founder of the same company, where they have been responsible for building a scalable, interoperable and carbon neutral blockchain to support use cases such as NFTs, video games, loyalty schemes, event ticketing, supply chain provenance and cargo management. In 2021, they became Co-Founder and Chairman of VereNFT, an enterprise-grade whitelabel NFT platform provider.

Alan Vey attended Netherhall Sixth Form College Cambridge from 2009 to 2011, where they completed their High School A Level studies. Alan then went on to Imperial College London from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence.
