Avery Dennison
Deon Stander is vice president and general manager, Retail Branding and Information Solutions (RBIS) for Avery Dennison Corporation. He was appointed to this position in June 2015 after serving as vice president and general manager, Global Commercial and Innovation, RBIS since January 2013.
In his role, Deon is responsible for worldwide leadership of and strategy for the Retail Branding and Information Solutions division, focused on building partnerships with apparel brand owners, retailers, and factories. Additionally, Deon oversees Avery Dennison’s market-leading RFID business, helping retailers around the world to accelerate performance and drive efficiencies.
As the vice president and general manager of RBIS, Deon is also responsible for the core business functions for the division, including finance, human resources, communications and marketing, legal, and information technology.
Before joining Avery Dennison, Deon held various business and commercial positions in consumer packaged goods and telecommunications companies in the UK. He received his MBA from Lancaster University, UK in 2001.
