Thomas Smouse is an experienced professional in the audio visual and events industry, currently serving as Regional Sales Manager of the Midwest - Venues, Director of Audio Visual Sales, and Director of Audio Visual Services at AVEX Audio Visual since August 2017. In addition to these roles, Thomas has been a Freelance Photographer since February 2019 and a Freelance Writer for Music In Minnesota since November 2018. Previous positions include Director of Sales and Sales Manager at PSAV from August 2011 to August 2017, and Director of Event Technology at Failing Forward Records from July 2013 to March 2015. From 2006 to 2013, Thomas was the Owner of Smice Productions, managing local artists and handling music production tasks. Thomas has also worked as House Engineer at Fuzzy Slippers Studios and as a Technician at KGAN. Educationally, Thomas holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from the Institute of Production and Recording, obtained between 2003 and 2005.
