George F. Franz, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. George F. began their career in the US Navy, serving as a Naval Officer and gaining extensive flight experience, including as a Mission Commander. George F. also held the role of Aviation Engineering Duty Officer during their time in the Navy.

After their time in the Navy, Franz joined Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), where they took on various roles. These included serving as Deputy Program Manager for the T-45 Power & Propulsion (P&P) project and as Deputy Program Manager for the Joint & Allied Threat Awareness System (JATAS). George F. also held positions such as Deputy Program Executive Officer for Acquisition (DPEO(A)-ACQ(N)) and Assistant Program Manager for Systems Engineering (APMSE).

Following their tenure at NAVAIR, Franz held leadership positions at AVIAN, a subsidiary of Avian Holdings, Inc. George F. started as a Senior Courseware Developer and Instructor, responsible for developing and teaching professional training courses for Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTLs) in support of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) College of Program Management (CPM). George F. then progressed to become the Vice President for the Test and Evaluation | Flight Support (TFS) sector, focusing on managing contracts and supporting strategic growth objectives. Finally, Franz served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for AVIAN, overseeing all market sectors and operationalizing corporate strategy.

Throughout their career, George F. Franz has demonstrated strong leadership, operational management, and strategic planning skills. George F. is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.

George F. Franz, PMP has an extensive education history, primarily focused on engineering and national security studies. George F. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy in the years 1986 to 1990. Subsequently, they pursued higher education and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School during the years 1998 to 2000. George F. also completed a Naval Test Flight Officer program in Systems Test and Evaluation Curriculum (Class 117) at the United States Naval Test Pilot School (USNTPS) from 1999 to 2000. Continuing their academic journey, George obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College from 2003 to 2004. Additionally, they received professional certifications throughout their career, including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2015 and various Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certifications such as Level II Systems Planning, Research, Development & Engineering (SPRDE) and Level II Test & Evaluation. In 2007, they completed the Level III Program Management program at Defense Acquisition University and became a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps (DAC).
