Paydas Mersin

Paydas Mersin is an experienced professional in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as the Director of Customer Solutions Architecture & Sales Engineering for EMEA at Aviat Networks since December 2023. Prior to this, Paydas held several senior roles at NEC Corporation from 2005 to January 2024, including Director of Transport Networks for MENA, Turkey, and part of CIS, where responsibilities encompassed both sales and technical activities, project management, and contract management. Paydas also functioned as the Head of the Overseas Transmission Group for the same regions, overseeing network project management and technical operations. Previous experience includes positions at Ericsson Ukraine as a Transmission Planning Consultant and at Alcatel as a Regional RF&TX Manager. Paydas began a career at Ericsson in 1998, progressing from Senior Radio Network Engineer to Microwave Radio Network Planning Engineer. Education includes a degree from Kocaeli University and attendance at Izmir Ozel Turk Koleji.
