Anirban Sengupta

Anirban Sengupta currently serves as CTO and SVP of Engineering at Aviatrix, beginning in July 2024. Prior to this role, Anirban was the Senior Director for GKE Services and Anthos at Google from June 2020 to July 2024, overseeing a team of over 350 engineers and responsible for enterprise managed Kubernetes distribution. Anirban’s experience includes significant leadership positions at VMware, including Vice President of Engineering for NSBU, where responsibilities included major product introductions in networking and security services, and prior roles at Cisco Systems, Azul Systems, Tahoe Networks, Lucent Technologies, Ascend Communications, Stratus Computers, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Anirban holds an MS in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University and a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
