Juan Abulencia

Juan Abulencia is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software quality assurance and engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Aviatrix since August 2022, Juan previously held the position of Principal Software Dev QA Engineer at Fortinet from March 2021 to August 2022. At ShieldX Networks, from July 2016 to March 2021, Juan excelled as Sr. Manager of QE and Automation, significantly enhancing regression test scripts through Python. Prior roles include Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Intel Security, where comprehensive functional testing was conducted, and various QA positions at Packeteer, Inc., Cosine Communications, Inc., and NEC Telecom Software Philippines, Inc., where contributions spanned from XML parser development to Command Line Interface implementation. Juan holds a BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology.
