Staffan Friberg

Staffan Friberg is an experienced technology professional specializing in performance engineering and observability. Currently serving as Principal Architect and Manager of Site Reliability Engineering at Aviatrix since May 2025, Staffan previously held significant roles at Matillion, where responsibilities included directing the SRE and Observability team. At Medallia, Staffan led the global team focused on performance and observability engineering, driving key initiatives such as the migration to OpenJDK and improvements in product stability. Staffan's career includes positions at Cloudera, Oracle—where contributions encompassed leadership in Java platform performance and product management—and BEA Systems, among others.
