Damian Deneault

Damian Deneault has a robust background in hardware engineering, currently serving as Vice President of Hardware at Avid Technology since May 2006. Prior to this role, Damian held positions such as Hardware Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering at Zaiq Technologies from June 1999 to May 2006, focusing on hardware design and verification of ASICs and FPGAs. From January 1991 to June 1999, Damian was the Director of Engineering at PictureTel Corp, where responsibilities included video conferencing technologies and audio/video compression. Earlier in their career, Damian worked as Hardware Manager and Principal Hardware Engineer at Alliant Computer Systems, involved in the design of multi-processor computers, and as a Hardware Engineer at Raster Technologies, specializing in graphics rendering hardware. Damian earned both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
