Nate Aiman-Smith

Nate Aiman-Smith serves as the VP and Chief Cloud Technologist at Avid Technologies since April 2025, where responsibilities include overseeing public cloud transformative strategy and implementation. Prior to this role, Nate held the position of Vice President - Cloud at Keyrus from November 2020 to April 2025, leading the integration of RunAsCloud and managing the cloud standalone portfolio. As the Founder and CEO of RunAsCloud from May 2015 to December 2020, Nate focused on AWS-centric DevOps consultancy and transitioned toward a sales-focused role. Nate's earlier experience includes working as a Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services from October 2012 to May 2015, where contributions were made to establish AWS as an industry standard, and holding various managerial and architectural roles at NBCUniversal from 2007 to 2012, focusing on development operations, cloud implementation, and infrastructure for platforms like Hulu.
