Bush Stacey

Bush Stacey is an experienced educator and program specialist currently serving as an AVID Program Specialist in Teaching and Learning at AVID Center since October 2021. With a substantial background in education, Bush has held various roles within Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, including AVID Teacher/Coordinator and English Teacher from 2012 to October 2021, and previously served as an Independent Contractor since January 2004. Bush's leadership experience includes serving as the North Carolina and South Carolina Program Manager for AVID from 2008 to 2012 and as an AVID Elective Teacher/Coordinator from 1998 to 2008. Bush holds a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the State University of New York at Fredonia and multiple Master of Education degrees from Queens University of Charlotte, specializing in Literacy, School Administration, and Secondary School Administration/Principalship.
