Suzanne Swanson Cmp, Cmm

Suzanne Swanson, CMP, CMM, has extensive experience in event management and communications, currently serving as Meeting Manager for AVID Center since March 2012. In this role, Suzanne oversees meetings for AVID's Summer Institutes, focusing on promoting college readiness among educators and administrators. Prior to this position, Suzanne was the Manager of Special Events at Scripps Health Foundation from August 2002 to March 2012, where event planning and execution for fundraisers were key responsibilities. Earlier roles include Corporate Marketing and Special Events Specialist at Unico Properties, Inc., Writer/Communications Coordinator at Weyerhaeuser, and Public Information Officer at Arizona State Retirement System. Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with a specialization in Intercultural Communications from Arizona State University.
