Avidity
Michael Hood has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences and research. Michael started their career as a Research Assistant at Boston University in 2009. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Research Associate at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics. In 2011, they also served as a Research Volunteer at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2015, they joined Avidity NanoMedicines as a Research Associate II, where they worked until 2017. At Avidity Biosciences, Inc., they held the positions of Scientist from 2017 to 2020 and is currently working as a Senior Scientist from December 2020 onwards.
Michael Hood received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Comprehensive Science from Villanova University, where they attended from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they completed between 2012 and 2013. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the certification "Master the Matrix" from FINERTY CONSULTING in February 2023.
