Nicola Griffiths

Nicola Griffiths is an experienced professional in clinical data management, currently serving as the Associate Director of Clinical Data Management at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. since May 2025. Previously, Nicola held the position of Manager of Clinical Data Operations at PHASTAR, overseeing client portfolios in rare diseases from August 2022 to May 2025. As Chair of the conference organising committee for the Association for Clinical Data Management (ACDM) from February 2019 to May 2024, Nicola contributed to the advancement of the field. Prior roles at Veristat included Manager, Principal Data Manager, and Senior Data Manager, where responsibilities encompassed leading data management teams on oncology studies. At RB, Nicola served as Senior Clinical Data Manager and managed all data aspects of various studies, as well as taking on a secondment as Medical Scientist in Digestive Relief. Early career positions at Worldwide Clinical Trials included Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and Data Entry Assistant, focusing on large multinational clinical studies. Nicola holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Bath.
