Thomas Shroka, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. Thomas is currently working as a Scientist at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. since October 2022. Prior to this, they were a Ph.D Candidate at the University of California San Diego from September 2017 to November 2022. Thomas also served as a Research Associate at the University of Colorado between October 2015 and August 2017. Before that, they worked as a Research Associate at NovelMed Therapeutics from September 2014 to July 2015. Thomas has also worked as a Research Assistant at Cleveland Clinic in the Lerner Research Institute from January 2014 to October 2014. Additionally, they gained experience as a Production Assistant at Dott Products from September 2013 to August 2014.
Thomas Shroka, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from The Ohio State University in the years 2008-2012. Thomas also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Science from Cleveland State University in 2014. Thomas later pursued advanced studies at UC San Diego, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical Sciences from 2017-2022.
