Tom Belton

Tom Belton is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel in Digital & Data Protection at Aviva since January 2022, having previously held the position of Legal Counsel within the same department. Prior to Aviva, Tom worked at moneycorp from June 2017 to January 2022, progressing from Trainee Solicitor to Legal Counsel. Early legal experience includes a role as Data Protection Paralegal and a brief work experience stint at Olswang. Tom's background also includes experience in claims handling at Steamship Insurance Management Services Ltd and a position as Wholesale Assistant at HUGO BOSS. Tom began legal studies at BPP Law School, completing the Legal Practice Course and a Graduate Diploma in Law, after earning a Bachelor's Degree in Modern History from the University of East Anglia.
