Rick Fiet

Rick Fiet has extensive experience in the engineering and management fields, primarily with Avon Protection since September 2005, where roles have included Site Leader, Senior Technical Manager, and Sustaining Engineering Leader. Fiet oversees a team addressing engineering challenges with legacy products and leads the supplied air value stream for self-contained breathing apparatus. Previous positions involved managing filtration laboratories, developing new filters, and overseeing significant projects, such as the establishment of an automated filter line. Prior to Avon Protection, Fiet held various engineering and project management roles at Avon Automotive from October 1993 to September 2005, focusing on fuel fill hoses and process improvement initiatives, enhanced by Six Sigma training. Fiet holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from Lawrence Technological University.
