Max Winston is a Partner at avra since August 2025 and an Angel Investor since December 2022, leveraging extensive experience in various roles within the financial and tech sectors. Prior positions include Director of Strategy & Commercial, Special Projects Lead, Chief of Staff to the CEO, Head Of Investor Relations, and Product Owner at Monzo Bank from December 2018 to August 2025. Max also served as a Venture Scout at Andrena Ventures and worked as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst at J.P. Morgan. Additionally, Max co-founded Week.ly, a subscription service for household essentials, and contributed as a Teaching Assistant in Econometrics at the London School of Economics. Max holds a First Class Honours degree in BSc Management from the London School of Economics, completed in 2017.
