Sergio Salata possesses extensive experience in business development and engineering, with a focus on space and optical technologies. Currently serving as Earth Observation Business Development Manager at AVS Added Value Solutions since September 2017, Sergio oversees a new business line and conducts marketing analysis for Optical and SAR missions. Previous roles include Global Business Development Manager in Astronomy and Partner at Fabricatium, where Sergio delivered precision mechanical components for scientific instruments. Earlier experience includes positions at veintiochoymedio as Technical Marketing Manager, Tohqi as Production Leader for an electric motorbike startup, and General Electric as Program Manager for new product introductions. Sergio began a career in engineering with roles at UCL and ITER, after obtaining a Master of Engineering from the University of Southampton and a Master of Science from UCL.
