Ylva Strandberg

Ylva Strandberg is a registered Australian and New Zealand Patent and Trade Mark Attorney with extensive experience in intellectual property law, particularly in the life sciences sector. Currently serving as Counsel and Head of AU and NZ relations at AWA since April 2018, Ylva specializes in patent drafting, prosecution, and IP strategy. Previous roles include Intellectual Property Counsel at Vuly Play and Associate at Cullens Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, where Ylva managed a diverse range of IP matters for local and international clients. Ylva's background also includes significant research experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at both CSIRO and The University of Queensland, alongside a solid academic foundation with degrees in Biochemistry and Law from notable universities.
