Stanton Anthony

Stanton Anthony is a Backend Software Engineer at Awardco, where optimization of a widely-used report enhanced client experience by making it 2.5 times faster. Responsibilities include improving and maintaining an employee recognition web application that serves over 3 million customers, utilizing C# and ASP. Previous experience includes roles at Sandbox as a Software Engineer, developing software through BYU’s startup program, and as a Software Engineer Intern at Vutility, where Stanton learned Flutter to create a cross-platform application. As a Lead Full Stack Developer for the BYU Speeches website, which attracts over 8 million annual visits, Stanton contributed significantly to its development. Additionally, Stanton served as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University, self-learning Python to develop scraping software and collaborating on prototypes for Facebook aimed at aiding neurodiverse and autistic users. Stanton is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Brigham Young University, expected to graduate in April 2024.
