Lucy Zhao began their work experience in 2017 as a Summer Vacationer at Deloitte Australia. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Blue Gum Technologies as a Business Analyst. In 2019, they interned as a Summer Intern in Deals at PwC. Lucy then joined PwC Australia in 2020, where they initially worked as a Consultant in Deals Modelling until 2021. Lucy was later promoted to a Senior Consultant in Corporate Value Advisory from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Lucy Zhao is working as an Investment Analyst at Aware Super since July 2022.
Lucy Zhao completed their Bachelor of Commerce/Actuarial Studies degree in Finance at UNSW from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Hornsby Girls High School from 2008 to 2014, where they pursued studies in Business/Commerce, General. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained various qualifications in data science and programming from institutions such as Coursera and Kaggle in 2023. Lucy also passed Level II of the CFA exam in January 2023 and Level I in February 2021. In 2017, they completed a course on Coaching Skills for Managers offered by the Centre for Continuing Education. Additionally, in 2021, they earned the Advanced Financial Modeler Badge from the Financial Modeling Institute (FMI).
