Investment Analyst, Credit at Aware Super

Tom Mort began their work experience in 2009 with the Northern Suburbs Basketball Association, where they held various roles until 2014. In 2015, they joined National Australia Bank as an Agribusiness Graduate, later transitioning to the roles of Agribusiness Analyst, Small Business Relationship Manager, and Relationship Manager. During their time at NAB, Tom managed portfolios of SME Agribusiness clients and small agribusiness relationships, earning recognition as a top performer within the NAB Group. In 2018, they moved to OakNorth Bank, initially as an Associate in Debt Finance Origination, originating leveraged finance and cash-flow growth lending to SMEs. Tom then became an Associate Director in Workouts and Recoveries, developing strategies to minimize credit losses in OakNorth's loan portfolio. Tom most recently joined Aware Super in 2021 as an Investment Analyst, focusing on credit investments and managing a growing portfolio of private loans and bonds.

Tom Mort completed their high school education from St Ignatius College, Riverview from 2003 to 2008. Tom then pursued a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics degree in Finance from the University of Sydney, graduating in 2014.
