Rob Sehnert has a diverse work history, starting with their current role as President and Chief Executive Officer at AWP Safety since October 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Integration Officer at AWP Safety from January 2021.
Before joining AWP Safety, they worked at Wabtec Corporation from 2007 to 2021, where they served as Vice President of the Freight Services Group and General Manager of Wabtec Global Services. Rob also held the role of Regional VP Sales during their tenure at Wabtec Corporation.
Prior to their time at Wabtec Corporation, they held the position of Director of Sales at ReachView Technologies from 2005 to 2007 and Director of Sales at Tollgrade Communications from 2004 to 2005. Rob also worked as an Account Executive at Tollgrade Communications from 2002 to 2004.
Additionally, Rob Sehnert spent time at Marconi as a Marketing Manager from 2000 to 2002 and in the United States Navy from 1991 to 2000, where they served in Special Operations as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal officer.
Rob Sehnert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from the United States Naval Academy, where they attended from 1987 to 1991.
