Laurent Cholvy is the Chief Financial Officer at AXA Hong Kong and Macau since October 2022, serving as an executive committee member and board member of AXA General Insurance Thailand. Previously, Laurent was the Chief Financial Officer at Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance PCL. from January 2019 to October 2022, overseeing all financial aspects of a life, savings, and health insurance company. From January 2000 to December 2018, Laurent held several key positions at AXA, including Group Head of Actuarial Reporting, focusing on actuarial and solvency reporting and the deployment of IFRS 17, and Regional Chief Risk Officer for Southern Europe, Latin America, and the MENA Region. Laurent began a career in finance and risk management at Societe Generale as a Manager in the Inspection Générale division from July 1997 to January 2000. Laurent holds a Master's degree in Finance from HEC Paris and a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Sciences Po.
