Bogdan Moraru

Bogdan Moraru is an experienced professional in the field of product development and technology management, currently serving as Sr. Technology Manager for General Industrial EMEA at Axalta since October 2022. Prior to this role, Bogdan held various leadership positions, including Head of Product Development at PCI Augsburg GmbH and Head of Product Development Construction Systems Europe at BASF Construction Chemicals. Bogdan also contributed significantly to BASF from 2005 to 2016 as Group Manager for Product Development in architectural coatings and construction materials. Earlier experience includes a role as Global Product Development Manager and Polymer Research Scientist at Degussa. Bogdan Moraru earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from the Vienna University of Technology between 1994 and 2001.
