Shifa Shaikh

Shifa Shaikh began their professional career in 2015 as a Tutor for CH Group of Physics, where they tutored high-school students and taught concepts of Physics. In 2016, they volunteered with Invincible NGO. In 2018, they gained experience as a Trainee Engineer with MCBS Pvt Ltd, where they operated with a team member on a project named Baby Monitoring System. In 2020, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at San Jose State University, closely working and reporting the Associate Dean and full-time faculty of the engineering department. Shifa also attended weekly training sessions taught by Dr. Harry Li founder of CTI One company. Additionally, they were an Engineering Ambassador and STEM Project Mentor for the MESA Engineering Program at SJSU. In 2021, they were a Computer Vision Intern with SkyScout Group - AI based video solution, researching on techniques for camera calibration, field localization, player detection, and localization. Currently, they are an Embedded Software Engineer at Axiado Corporation.

Shifa Shaikh has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University, which they obtained from 2019 to 2021. Shifa also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar, which they obtained from 2015 to 2019. In addition, Shifa has obtained several certifications, including Learning Jira Software from LinkedIn in 2022, Mandated Reporter from the California Department of Social Services in 2020, Designing for Neural Networks and AI Interfaces from LinkedIn in 2020, Learning FPGA Development from LinkedIn in 2020, Advanced C Programming from LinkedIn in 2020, C Programming for Embedded Applications from LinkedIn in 2020, Introduction to Programming Using Python from edX in 2020, Cognitive Computing (IBM's Watson) in association with IBM from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2016, Amazon Cloud Based Internet of Things from IEEE in 2016, and Industrial Automation and Robotics from MSME-TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (PPDCAGRA) in 2016.
