Dan Oakes

Dan Oakes is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in antitrust law, currently serving as a Partner at Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP since 2011. Oakes specializes in criminal antitrust investigations, merger analysis, and litigation, having played a critical role in responding to government merger investigations, including coordination of responses to second requests and civil investigative demands from the FTC and DOJ. Previous positions include Judicial Extern for Judge Edward J. Damich at the United States Court of Federal Claims and various roles at notable organizations such as the Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Justice.
